q = 135 (4/4 time) except where notedSong is in E major, and in 4/4 except where noted.

The trick to riff A (and riff H), according to Alex Lifeson in a recent
guitar magazine interview, is to keep your middle finger rooted on the 3rd
fret of the B string, never lifting it off until it's time to change to
next riff. While keeping that finger down, use the other three fingers to
execute the pulloffs on the E string.

I'll add that, done that way, you can play the riff with steady downstrokes
on the B and E strings. I can attest that this is much, much easier than
my busy-ass alternate-picking, B-string-hammering method. Now maybe I'll
be able to get that riff up to speed. :)

Arranged for one guitar; this transcription is a meld of the studio
and live performance. Comments welcome.
