I play all music, listen to all music, and will challenge you to a solo battle anytime. Hendrix, MAB, Eric Johnson, Eric Clapton, Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert, Joe Satriani, Joe Pass, Jeff Loomis, Dimebag Darrell, Randy Rhoades, Freddie King, SRV, Johnny Winter, T-Bone Walker, Yngwie Malmsteen, Frank Zappa, Tony Rice, and EVH, for a "terse" list of my influences. Anyone that wishes destruction on a genre of music because they simply dislike it is not of my opinion, but those that fight against sold-out music will find me their ally.
- For the record, ICTUS is latin for a sting, bite, or cut, and is also a musical metric stress. I am not referring to an emo band by the same name. Ictus also means a sudden stroke or seizure, perhaps that explains the emo band.

Emo...fucking sold out. Let's bring that shit down. :P You'll never see P Gilb or Marty Friedman on MTV, thank God. (Might see Gilbert via Mr. Big and Friedman with Megadeth, but never solo? Hell naw.)
