Mike Barber is an accomplished/versatile guitarist. His main influences include Randy Rhoads, Ace Frehley and Eddie Van Halen. In the past, Mike played the North Florida club scene in Prowler. Prowler recorded and released an Independent demo in 1991 which received some radio play on Jacksonville�s Rock 105. The demo did very well on a local level and drew the attention of several production companies. After working a deal with Hurricane Productions out of Louisiana, Prowler toured across the Southeast playing the "A Club" Circuit scene. Mike�s guitar playing on the Prowler demo was selected and featured in a �Spotlight On New Guitar Talent� column in a 1991 issue of Guitar For The Practicing Musician magazine. Mike�s playing also won an Honorable Mention in a worldwide guitar playing contest/competition sponsored by Marshall Amplification. In mid 1992 Mike met Jorge and Tory from Diamondback and the trio has been together off and on ever since. Mike's been a member of the Jacksonville, FL based band Driven since 1999.
