Guitar World Tabs
The best rig I ever had and am trying to buy, again, was a Gibson M3-Standard. made from '91- '94. The body and set-in neck was black with tiger striped pick guard. Sharp Double Cutaway body,2 Humbuckers,1 single coil pickups (H-S-H)configuration.Double locking Floyd Rose Tremelo(Black),24-Fret Neck w/Maple Fingerboard, a Reverse Headstock and Abalone Pointed Inlay Markers. You could get this model in black, white or candy apple red. Epiphone also had a version called the EM3 Rebel. I played it through a rackmount DoD G7 Multi-effects processor which came out around '94 or '95. This was a match made in heaven. Mainly I like to practice with headphones. The best amp I ran it through for performing was a tube driven, homemade amp-25- watts. The cab looked like it was put together with an old heavy bookcase. It didn't even have a back on it, just a board housing the controls and wiring. But the tone... (even with no effects) was smooth and sweet. Now I am playing a guitar I built outof $20 worth of parts and running it through an art pedal and into my computer. Fun but I am ready to get serious! I am looking for any versions of this guitar. I am also looking for the processor which came out around '94-'96.
