Whats up, my name is Nick if you havent guessed. I have a Gibson SG Classic with a cool little multi-tone pedal. I started playing in January 08'. Basicly got started because the song 18 and Life. Had to learn how to play it. I can play it but now but its too late, im hooked. All I really do everyday now is work and go home and play my SG till I fall asleep. I plan on playing for my church pretty soon but all they do is chords and I've only been lead parts and power chords, so..., gotta learn to play chords better first I suppose. Songs I know so far are: 18 and Life by Skid Row; Swing Swing by The All American Rejects; Walk by Pantera(except the narly solo). Also a few worship songs including: Take it All; Strong Tower; What the World Will Never Take; Here I am to Worship; From the Inside Out; and Amazing Grace. I also learned a butt load more of riffs, but not the entire songs. My short term goals with my playing is to get better at chords and begin playing at my church. My long term goals are to make Yngwie Malmsteen look like a chump. I want to be start writing some music, maybe some new worship songs with some narly solos in it, who knows.
