I've been a guitarist for 29+ years, and quite fanatical about it - an 8 hour-a-day practicing regimen (for many years), pouring over music theory, and an over-the-top performance ethic.

I've had the privilege of writing, recording, and performing in numerous projects including:

~Opening for Everclear (in a one-off project - Special Guest)
~Co-organizer of the Tom Sawyer progressive rock projects
~Session work for the 'Rock Opera' Volitar: Alien World (Available at iTunes, Amazon, etc.)

..and all while based out of Juneau, Alaska! Who'd a thunk it possible?

I've been a private guitar instructor for the past 20 years, and I'm proud to say that a number of my students have gone on to Berklee and GIT, which is very gratifying personally.

I would have set my skill level to 'Virtuoso', however, I think that is a distinction given to musicians, rather than adopted by them. Although musicians do say that about me, which is very kind indeed, I have nevertheless set my skill level to 'Pro'. Nuff said?
