My name is Jeff, and I like all kinds of guitar styles. I've been playing for 19 years. I started off with bands like Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, AC/DC and other similar bands, and then discovered artists like Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Eric Johnson, and Steve Morse. Those were the guys that helped to shape my style. Of course how could I forget such classics as Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Doors, Lynyrd Skynyrd, etc. I'm not much of a fan of tapping but if it comes down to it then I'll do it. Lately, for the past few years I've been disciplining myself to Jazz and Classical playing. I really dig guitarists like Joe Pass, Barney Kessell, Paco De Lucia, Chet Atkins, Tommy Emmanuel, Wes Montgomery and Lenny Breau. So that pretty well sums it up. I guess you can say I've been around the block.

My Gear

Epiphone Studio Les Paul, Takamine G-Series electric acoustic, Hyundai electric acoustic (that's what I said....Hyundai...it's actually quite rare) Renaissance Classical, Eleco Jumbo Acoustic, Renegade electric, and sometimes I jam it up on my Yamaha RGX Bass. I play my acoustics and electrics through a Zoom 707 II guitar effects processor going through to a small mixer attached to a pre-amp and out to 2x80 Watt speakers. I call it "My Frankenstein".
