I also like iron maiden, queensryche, ufo, saxon,M.S.G, dio, rush, iced earth, beyond fear, anthrax, megadeth, early metallica, ac/dc, ozzy (with randy rhoads) and all the other good classic metal bands but also im trying to get into more blues. my biggest influences are kk. downing and glenn tipton. I play a fender strat with a semour duncan hot rail lead pick up in the neck and cool rails in the neck and have a line6 spider 3 and a cry baby standered wah peddal. Also i have a glass slide and im just starting to learn with that and i truly am trying to get into blues ;]. I hope to soon be able to buy a worn cherry gibson flying v with 2 pick ups and chrome hardware. Finally i am hoping to start playing bass in the not too distant metal future. Those Zack Wylde emgs are a 81/85 combo, but their just tweaked to his specs. Anyway with that band I'm playing with... Their not serious!!!! Every time I would go over to practice most of the guys never show up and the drummer plays for a little bit then says he's busy, and I bring my pedal to get accurate tones to the songs we would play and he say's just to use his piece of shit amp that feeds back and sounds like shit. It happens every time! Every person I go to start a band with is never serious enough! At least I get to practice my timing with a drummer, but I doubt this band will go anywhere...

5 grand is a little out of my range!! Im thinking more of the $400 range, but I think Im gonna get that digitech rp1000. I like digitech pedals... I'll definetly get active emg's if I do buy new pickups. Zack Wylde has signature emg pickups, Im thinking about those...

EMG also makes passive pickups (non-active) thats what I have on my cort. Anyway heres some news, this guys was looking for a guitarist for a kind of cover band playing hard rock, classic metal, southern rock, etc... I went over to his place and played for him and he said I can be in the band because he has a show thats gonna pay $3500. So I have to get a new multi effects pedal because my gnx4 is fucked up! I was thinking about getting a digitech rp1000 because it looks really sturdy and tough... Do have any advice for which pedal i should get?

Yeah I've heard of seymour duncan blackouts... I actually played an ibanez with a pair of them, it sounded really good. I should check them out. Yngwie's pickups are single coil pickups, my guitar is only routed for humbuckers; it would look kind of wierd to have single coils in it... Thanks for the advice though

Thats cool... Those rollers your getting should help with your whammy bar. Those fender bridge's go out of tune really easy. Yeah I think those emg's will complete my jackson too... The only problem is money. The pickups are about $200 a set, plus I have to rout out the back of the guitar for a battery compartment. Maybe some day I'll get those pickups installed...
