The greatest bands in history are easily Van Halen, Black Sabbath, Guns n' Roses, Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, The Kinks etc.
I am also a great fan of Django Reinhardt as he is one of the greatest guitarist ever. I have only been playing guitar properly since January '08. But 3 hours practice a day and 10 years of violin playing are a massive help.
I have been in a few bands but none of them have been perfect; you always get some pric who likes some indie pop shit.
