My name is Jordan, and I live in Wyoming, where the wind blows and not much else happens. I started playing guitar in May '07, after I first listened to Stairway to Heaven and Ozzy's No More Tears, and I never looked back. I'm 16, and a junior in high school. At first I played only rock tunes, but lately I've drifted into more blues techniques, such as chord fragments and a lot of bending. My favorite bands or artists include Stevie Ray Vaughn, Led Zeppelin, Godsmack, Tool, Pantera (not to sound completely cliched or repetitive, but like everyone else, RIP Dime) A7X, Eric Clapton, Metallica (Kirk Hammett 4ever!), and many other artists, ranging from blues to hardcore. Of all my influences, I would have to say Metallica is the one that most affects my playing, and Led Zeppelin is a close second (Stairway was the first song i learned to play surprise, surprise, imagine that). If you don't like my taste in music, then suck it (JK... one of my best friend's favorite band is ICP... god knows wtf is up with that...). Rock on, ginger out.
