Hi. I'm a guitar and bass instructor with Saratoga Guitar Center in Saratoga Springs, NY.
I've been playing guitar since November 4, 1972 (election day, Nixon trounced McGovern). Learned three chords that day and borrowed a Beatles song book. This is in the days before tabs.
I play in two groups, The Tequila Mockingbirds (acoustic duo) and Bourbon Renewal (blues/rock band). Please visit www.georgefletcher.com to hear our music and to say hi.

My Gear

Electric guitars: 1978 Fender Tele, 2007 Babicz Octane, Mid-90s Danelectro U2 (completely tricked out), 2007 Reverend Club King w/P-90s. Bass guitar: 2004 Curbow bass. Acoustic guitars: 1970 Martin 000-28, 2005 Larravee OMV-09, Babicz Identity acoustic, mid-80s Ovation Ultra. Amps: Late-90s Fender Blues DeVille 4X10 tweed, early 90s Peavey Classic 30 1x12 tweed. Lots of effects gathering dust, but for live electric set up I use the Aphex Punch Factory optical compressor, Boss tremolo, Boss Digital Delay and a Tube Screamer. For my acoustic setup, I use only the Punch Factory and on board reverb from my Mackie PA.

hey man,

nice sight. I went to school in Albany and recognize some of those clubs. Beautiful part of the country...in the spring and summer that is...
