Please read a lot of forum posts and do a lot of research before making the investment. There is already a better program called Superior Drummer 2 and I am considering buying but EZD really does a great work if you know how to use it

First of all, know that it is not a standalone program, meaning, you cannot create drum tracks just by opening the program. In fact, the program does not bring an executable file. It can only be worked with by having a host program. In my case I use CUBASE SX3 as that host program. I click on VST Instruments and use EZDrummer as a plug in.

The EZD drums appear and you can select the cymbals and size of the drums. You can click on them to hear how they sound, but that it's not how you record.

You have 3 options:
1) using a midi keyboard to play/record
2) connecting an electric drum kit to the computer and using EZD's sounds
3) using the mouse to click on a midi drum map to input click by click each and every drum bit

Option 3 is what I do, and it is very time consuming but the result is a perfect drum track and the only limit is your imagination and patience

I did not have any problems installing it but again make sure you have the correct host program. I use to have an older version of Cubase and it didn't work. Just go to their website and research

I was really impressed by your ezdrummer software in your shred the web video and Im considering buying it, but I want to know if its easy to use and If you had any problems installing it. I don't know how to play drums and Im kind of new to software recording. I have garageband for my Mac and Protracks for my pc. Can you you tell me about your drum software a bit? Thanks...

sorry man I don't write tabs because they take too much of my time, I'm fairly busy promoting my album online and already writing and recording for a second album I want to have out in 1 year

hey uoylliki , thanks for listening to my album, for the moment I'll just keep my day job and still pursue an independent recording artist career. I love what I do I couldn't stop if I wanted to, but at the same time I keep the door open for any opportunities that my solo album might open. It would be great to become a session player, I know I can do it and I know I would do great ;)

this is something you as a dream theater fan might want to know, since you also have a youtube account. there's some liar who made this cheap video claiming james labrie is going to leave dream theater. it was the most dumb and false video ever, as he had no actual evidence of this. also, if you haven't heard the songs from the new cd yet, they're ALL on youtube. the users name who posted them is Satanindustry. look them up, i think you'll find them very talented. theater has come a long way. by the way, are you going to enter in shred the web 2?
