HAHA It was so funny at my friends. Her sister was there too. We sat in her room trying to play One - Metallica. (her rythm, me lead) It was funny because we sucked so bad. I might have to listen to the song a bit more because i played the solos a bit off time... Oh well, it was fn and we are still looking for a song to learn and play together(excluding our own songs)

and i just broke a high E string in C(2 ssteps down), which is really messed. I was playing thunderhorse - dethklok ad had just got the strings a few days before. Now, about a little over a week later, I just broke it again playing Voodoo Child - Hendrix in half step down. I thikn I'm gonna get ernie ball slinkys later because i'm sick of these strings snapping once a week

yeah, I've seen a few of em. And yeah i love floyd roses too, its just kind of a pain. Seeing as my next guitar will most likely have one, i really hope i dont break a string on my strat while I'm learning a song in drop D down a whole step or something. Since I get guitar lessons, i guess i'll keep it(my new guitar) in standard and let my guitar teacher have fun with it since he tunes it every week.

Don't get me wrong, I love floyd roses! I don't think I would buy a guitar without one, but they aren't that easy for alternate tunings. I think Im gonna buy Kramer Striker with a floyd rose and tune that to half step down. Kramer Striker's are 250 online and they have way good reviews, you should check them out.

I paid 450 for my Cort at a guitar store, but I bet you can get it for way cheaper online.
