about those non active emgs. if your dead set on emgs. then get actives their worth the extra work. They sound better than non actives

It was like 5 grand, but it does everything and is extremely dependable. Its worth it. It has every effect known to man on that thing. The name slipped my mind but i can ask him if you want? but the downside is the price. Tell me if you think its worth it and ill ask him.

oh yea i forgot he plays only fenders with single coils. Well blackouts would fit better anyway for your style. I trust Seymour Duncan for all the pickups i get. Blackouts are just emgs without batteries. Its worth a shot to try it. And most likely u will like them.

oh that guitar isnt set up for active pickups? I have a suggestion that wont save you money but it will save you the time of wiring it up. Maby try some Seymour Duncan Black Outs? There made for metal and unactive. I trust Seymour Duncan more than any other pickup maker. Also maby Dimarzio? Ygniwie(you know who im trying to spell) has a signature pickup that is pretty good. It gives you that warm sound like dave murry only deeper. Its worth a shot?

My fender well.. I put 2 90 buck pickups in it Hot and Cool rails in bridge and neck for that dave murray feel. And i got it set up a few times to get it just right so about 50 bucks there. Next im getting it re wired like a American strat but with stronger sound pots and hardware. And im getting my bridge worked on and rollers put on the head so i can use my wammy bar lol. Yea I love it. And still more upgrades on the way? And Emgs would complete your guitar.

ya my dad has a mexican strat and he sais he tells no difference between an american

yea if you put enough work into a mexican fender it will be better than an american.And i really hope i get that schecter. Im gonna try to work out something to get it

ya i was surprised at how cheap the floyd roses were on ebay. me and my dad realy want to make our own body so we're just going to buy a peice of alder.

yeah i still like jacksons im thinkin bout savein money to buy some warmoth parts to make my own guitar. i wanna put a floyd rose single locking tremelo in it. with like a purple paint job lol . oh yeah and some emg alexi laiho pick ups in it. hopefuly itll all work out lol

Yea man that schecter is a guitar straight from heaven (or hell). Its like no other iv played its perfect for metal. Its just so much money. I hope i can work out a deal to get it. And sorry to hear about the camera problems. Maby Maiden will judge the next one? But anyways on songs you should do a whole mix from rush,priest,maiden,dokken,overkill,megadeth,queen, ect. The best Guitar channels are the ones who mix it up :) Good luck with it all

lol i dont care about the inlays anymore. I play a schecter hell raiser with grover tuners floyde rose bridge, locked in nut, emg 81-85 combos it was amazing! I want it soo bad more than a flying v. It might even be the most comfortable guitar iv ever played! and iv play fenders gibsons paul reed smiths jacksons ibanezs deans epiphones lol the list goes on. But it was a great feeling guitar too bad its 900 bucks :( oh well ill think of something anyway you still content with your jackson? Its pretty cool Adrian Smith plays one now did you see his?

you realy cant feel a difference but thats just my opinion. I like them though cuz they look cool.

Hey do those shark tooth inlays have a better feel than a regular dot? its kind of a dumb question but iv never played a guitar with them

Well, I didn't say every band I listen to is metal. I said I like HARD ROCK AND METAL; But who gives a fuck?! If I like a song or band I don't care if it's call metal, rock or whatever! I'm going to listen to it if I like it! Who came up with labels anyway...

I used to live in Florida, when I was 10. Thats when I played drums, but not very many bands looking for a 10 year old drummer lol. Michigan isn't to bad as far as the music scene goes. Tell you what being a musican sure does attract the chicks lol. I got like five girls interested in me. The only problem is remembering all their names lol.
